TANNER FOUST #34
TEAM: Dreyer & Reinbold Racing
DATE OF BIRTH: June 13, 1973
HOMETOWN: Newport Beach, California
VEHICLE: DRR Rockstar Energy / WIX Filter Audi
Tanner Foust is the only rallycross driver in the world to have won events in every major series…. except Nitro RX! Multiple US championships to his name, but perhaps more significantly the only American to have won in both European and World Rallycross Championships. Once Foust has the Audi dialed to his liking expect him to be a force to be reckoned with in Nitro RX.
Tanner made his presence felt in the first two Nitro RX races, finishing 3rd in 2018 and 4th in 2019. He is a 4-time US Rallycross Champion (2010-2012, 2019), 2-time Formula Drift Champion (2007, 2008), 1-time Stage Rally Champion (PGT Class, 2005), and 9-time X Games medalist (4 gold, 3 silver, 1 bronze), Tanner is the first American driver to win a round of the European Rallycross Championship when he won in Portugal (2011). He has set multiple world records including the Hot Wheels Double Loop Dare (2012) where he drove through a 66-foot loop-the-loop, and the four-wheel distance record of a 332’ ramp-to-ramp jump at 2011 Indy 500 (since broken).
